Various valubles.

Valuables are any item that can be sold at an extraction point in R.E.P.O., with currently 109 valuables being in the game. All valuables are exclusive to the Locations they originate from, meaning they can not spawn in other Locations. Currently, there are 109 valuables in the entire game.

Value & Size Types[]

In R.E.P.O., valuables' spawn and value are determined by their value and size type. The size type will determine where an item and how many other of the same size can spawn. The value type will determine in what range the valuable is placed and how many of those value types can spawn.

Value Types[]

A value type is the type assigned to a valuable which determine its maximum value, minimum value, and contributes to how much value is contained within the same level. The title for each value type and numeric range is:

Size Types[]

A size type is the type assigned to a valuable which determine its spawn location and amount of the same sizes contained within the same level. The title for each size type and description is:

Size Type Description
Tiny Very small items, easy to move and fit in tight spaces.
Small Slightly larger, still easy to transport.
Medium Standard-sized items are manageable but will take up more space.
Big Bulky items, may not fit in the C.A.R.T. and leaves little room for other items
Wide Large, wide objects that tend to require multiple people to transport.
Tall Vertically large objects, will require careful transportation.
Very Tall Extremely tall items, can be difficult to move and will require cooperation.

This type has not been properly documented yet and will be receive more info in the future.

Traps Valuables[]

Some of the valuables are classified as traps in the game's code. Traps are valuables which make noise upon activation which alerts monsters[1]. They are mostly activated by a random timer which is running only when player is holding the valuable and the timer doesn't reset upon re-grabbing the valuable[2].

Combat[]

Any valuable in the game will stun "small" enemies, but only those valuables that have their max damage 30 or greater will stun "big enemies". (as of the beta small objects no longer stun any enemies.)

Valuables can stun while dealing 0 damage

If Indestructible Drone is attached to the item it can't stun nor hit monsters, however it will stun players while dealing no damage.

Despite the name "Indestructible Drone" items will not lose their value as expected but they WILL have special interactions intact (animal box noises, barrel explosions, broom's box breaking, etc.)

If playing in the beta, past level 20 (super moon phase), small, medium, and large enemy valuables (orbs) will explode when broken, dealing high damage. Small orbs will deal around 100 damage, medium orbs around 250, and large orbs will deal a staggering 400 damage, enough to 1 shot everything except the trudge.

Notes[]

  1. This isn't a strict rule since there are plenty of valuables that do this but aren't considered as traps in game's code

Tips[]

  • You can use small items such as fish, ocarina and goblet to take out monsters such as spewer, upscream and peeper.

Trivia[]

  • When using the Indestructible Drone, some of the items WILL keep their special interactions intact (animal box noises, barrel explosions, broom's box breaking, etc.) but will not take damage during so.
    • It is worth noting that the Indestructible Drone will only prevent the item from losing value when taking direct damage, but not if they are scripted to lose value when a certain condition triggers. (e.g. the Cocktail losing ~500$ worth if its liquid gets spilled out of the glass.)
  • A lot of the items have larger value ranges but don't seem to ever reach them. An example is that some items have $500-$650 value, but you'd only see them having $500-$600 for some reason. Another example are the $900-$1100 ranges which are actually supposed to be $850-$1100.
